I grew up poor and was raised in poverty, surrounded by violence; I never knew life without struggle or the endless need to tire myself out to make ends meet. I was working to live, living to work.

During the height of the pandemic, I launched this business in 2020 as a safety net to pay for my college tuition and break free from my soul-sucking job.

I was overworked and underpaid, watching my coworker, whom I was training, earn more than me. I was craving to find a way to make money online, I was just craving more…

It was a wake-up call that pushed me to seek financial freedom and a better way of life.

I knew I had to make a change, so I dove headfirst into the world of virtual assistance after finding out about it on social media.

Determined to create a successful business and break the shackles of generational financial curses that I had experienced all my life.

And that’s exactly what I did…

How I Scaled to 10k Months in 7 Months

So, you’re probably wondering how I managed to make 10k per month as a virtual assistant, right?

Well, let me break it down for you. One of the most critical factors in reaching this level of success is knowing how to get clients.

Building a solid network and establishing relationships with potential clients is critical. I’ve found success through networking events, making my presence known in my niche by constantly showing love to all wedding creatives. Receiving testimonials and referrals and bragging about your client wins are the best ways to attract new high-paying clients.

Another crucial aspect is positioning yourself as a successful business woman. You need to establish yourself as an expert in your niche and build credibility. This means continuously investing in your skills ( I had TWO mentors before I reached my first 10k month), investing in yourself, and applying the strategies from coaches and leaders to grow their business or side hustle is the best way to scale FAST.

Another key tip is switching over from hourly rates to retainer packages per service. I was charging a minimum of $1000 per package, meaning $1k for Pinterest, another $1k for Instagram management, and another $1k for admin. So I was making a minimum of $1k per client a max of $3k per client.

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, making sure the services you’re offering are top of the line, and providing exceptional value to your clients. By going above and beyond, you’ll build a reputation that attracts high-paying clients.

Of course, it takes time and effort to reach this level of success, it took me 7 months although I quit my job in only 8 weeks. It won’t happen overnight. But if you stay committed to your vision, adapt to changes, and never stop learning, you can achieve your goals and learn how to make money online too. So, don’t be afraid to dream big and work hard. With the right strategies and mindset, you can make 10k per month as a virtual assistant and create the lifestyle you’ve always wanted.
